On June 5th 2010 the Christian Dexter Benefit Hike was held at Mt. Bierstadt (South of Georgetown, Colorado).
Mt. Bierstadt is one of 54 fourteeners (mountains with peaks over 14,000 ft in elevation) in Colorado. The 7-mile round trip hike starts at 11,669 ft and summits at 14,060 ft. The climb has 2,850 feet in elevation gain. The trailhead is approximately 2-hours outside Denver, Colorado (south of Georgetown – off I-70).
